Fighting What You Don’t Know

Matthew 6:22-23 “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness.”

Throughout scripture there is a contrast between light and darkness. Light represents the knowledge of truth while darkness represents ignorance of that same truth. Most “Christians” today are seemingly fighting and enemy they can’t seem to gain victory over. However, the truth is you are not fighting demons or devils. YOU ARE ACTUALLY FIGHTING WHAT YOU DO NOT KNOW!

In Matthew 6:23, how can light be darkness? Light can only be darkness if what you know is a lie. If what you know (have been taught or learned your whole life) is not true. How much is that dark area hindering you? How big of an issue is it?

May the light of the glorious gospel of the kingdom and our Lord Yahshua the Christ shine on us. May the heart and minds of people be open to receive the truth whom the god of this age has blinded with great darkness. May people learn the truth and allow that truth they now know to set them free.
